• Before beginning to pack belongings up, be sure to create copies of vital documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters and packages go to your new home. You can do this on the USPS website.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys prior to you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to lose a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
