Moving Tips

• Place pads or blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make certain that you do not damage the floors during the move.
• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out whether it is required to reserve the elevator and if there are any blackout days for moving.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person walk through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
