• Before you begin to pack furniture up, be sure to create copies of documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and things that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new apartment. You can do this on the USPS website.
