• One of the first things things you should do before contacting a mover is to get a basic idea of how much you have to move.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
• As you get nearer to moving begin to declutter your cupboards and donate any food to local homeless shelters.
