Moving Tips

• Before you begin to pack belongings up, make sure to create copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and items that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person go-over with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
