Moving Tips

• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• If your landlord gave you a moving-out check-list be sure to take care of all the items on the Double check.
• If you are moving into an apartment, find out whether it is necessary to reserve the elevator and whether there are any blackout days for moving.
