• Take pictures of all of your valuables with any serial numbers also.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to lose a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
• Before starting to pack possessions up, be sure to create copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
