• Before you begin to pack items up, be sure to create copies of documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• Take pictures of all of your valuable items with any serial numbers also.
• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out whether it is required to reserve the elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
