• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• Take pictures of all of your valuable items with any serial numbers as well.
• Before beginning to pack furniture up, make sure to create copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
