Moving Tips

• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out whether it is necessary to reserve an elevator and whether there are any blackout days for moving.
• While you might want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and possessions that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• Before beginning to pack possessions up, be sure to make copies of vital documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
