Moving Tips

• If you are moving into an apartment, find out if it is required to reserve the elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
• Before you start to pack items up, make sure to create copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
