Moving Tips

• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out if it is necessary to reserve the elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
• Before you begin to pack furniture up, be sure to create copies of vital documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• While you might want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and possessions that you plan on using in the next day or so.
