• Before starting to pack furniture up, make sure to create copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• You may feel pressured to just donate or toss all of the food items in your house, but a number of items like olive oil and other ingredients can and should come with you.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, get copies made of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
