Moving Tips

• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and things that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• Before beginning to pack things up, make sure to make copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
