Moving Tips

• When looking through your clothing be sure to set aside any clothing that you no longer want and donate them to a local charity.
• Before beginning to pack furniture up, make sure to create copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out whether it is necessary to reserve the elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
