• While you might want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and items that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• Start by packaging rooms that you do not use that often and end the packing process with rooms like the bedroom and kitchen.
• Before you begin to pack belongings up, make sure to make copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
