• Well before the move, find out what grocery stores are nearby, as well as pharmacies if necessary.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, find out whether it is required to reserve an elevator and if there are any banned days for moving.
• You may feel pressured to just donate all of the food in your house, but a number of items like olive oil and other ingredients can and should come with you.
