• While no one likes to help others move, if you ask your family or friends for help well in advance then they will be more apt to help you out.
• Put blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you do not damage the floors during the move.
• It may sound silly but be sure to return any items you borrowed before beginning a move.
