Moving Tips

• Before you start to pack belongings up, make sure to create copies of vital documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills and other pieces of mail go to your new house. You can do this on the USPS website.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out whether it is required to reserve an elevator and if there are any blackout days for moving.
