Moving Tips

• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• While packaging you should keep important possessions separate from everything else. Be sure to keep these in your car or somewhere accessible so that you don't need to stress out during your move.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters and packages go to your new apartment. You can do this on the USPS website.
