• Before you begin to pack things up, make sure to create copies of documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills and other pieces of mail go to your new house. You can do this on the USPS website.
• Before moving your belongings in do a go-over of your apartment so that you can get a plan of action for where everything will go.
