• Before you start to pack items up, be sure to create copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new apartment. You can do this on the USPS website.
• Start by packing rooms that you do not use that often and end the packing process with rooms like the kitchen and bedroom.
