• Well before you begin unpacking, be sure that you clean up the apartment a bit.
• Start by packing rooms that you do not use that often and end the packing process with rooms like the kitchen and bedroom.
• Before starting to pack things up, make sure to make copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
