• Before beginning to pack things up, make sure to make copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• Place pads or blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you do not damage the floors during the move.
• It will take, on average, 60 boxes to pack up the usual American houses.
