• As you get nearer to a move begin to clean your cupboards and donate any food to local food pantries.
• If you aren't going to bring certain pieces of furniture with you then try to put them up for sale or donate them.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
