• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
• While packing you should keep crucial things separate from everything else. Make sure to keep these in your car or somewhere accessible so that you do not need to stress out during your move.
• Before beginning to pack items up, make sure to create copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
