• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new home. You can do this on the USPS website.
• It may sound obvious but make sure to return any borrowed items before you begin moving.
• Before you begin to pack items up, be sure to make copies of vital documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
