Moving Tips

• Before you start to pack possessions up, be sure to make copies of documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, make sure to do an in person go-over with your landlord prior to moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys prior to you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
