Moving Tips

• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out whether it is necessary to reserve the elevator and if there are any restricted days for moving.
• Make sure to choose a date that makes sense for you. You do not want to cause yourself stress unnecessarily.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
