• No matter what a moving company tells you, it is federal law for them to hold your belongings.
• Make sure to look into what doctors are in your new state or city, and whether they take your health plan.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person walk through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
