• Before beginning to pack belongings up, be sure to create copies of vital documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• Take pictures of all of your valuables with any serial numbers also.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new place. You can do this on the USPS website.
