Moving Tips

• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, find out whether it is required to reserve an elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
• Fill prescriptions (if you can) before you move so that you won’t have to worry about transferring all your prescriptions.
