• Before beginning to pack belongings up, be sure to create copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• While you might want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and belongings that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• Don't forget to warn the utility company that you are moving.
