• Well before you begin unpacking, make sure that you clean up the apartment a bit.
• If you have decided on packaging up some of your belongings into your car then make sure it is clean prior to the day of the move.
• Before you begin to pack furniture up, be sure to create copies of important documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a safe place.
