• Before starting to pack items up, be sure to make copies of vital documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• Take pictures of all of your valuable possessions with any serial numbers as well.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new place. You can do this on the USPS website.
