• It may sound obvious but make sure to return any borrowed items before you start a move.
• While packaging you should keep essential belongings separate from everything else. Be sure to keep these in your car or somewhere accessible so that you don't need to stress out during your move.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
