• While you might want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and possessions that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• You will need to set up a forwarding address for your mail so that your bills and other pieces of mail go to your new place. You can do this on the USPS website.
• Before you start to pack things up, make sure to create copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
