Moving Tips

• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out whether it is necessary to reserve an elevator and whether there are any blocked off days for moving.
• Place pads or blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you don't damage the floors during the move.
• Before beginning to pack things up, make sure to make copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
