• Before moving your possessions in do a walk through of your apartment so that you can get a plan of action for where everything will go.
• Take photographs of all of your valuables with any serial numbers as well.
• Before starting to pack furniture up, be sure to make copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
