Moving Tips

• If you want to stay on task and organized, create a moving checklist and actually follow it.
• Before you start to pack furniture up, make sure to create copies of crucial documents like tax returns and birth certificates and keep them in a secure place.
• While it is not required by law in some states, be sure to do an in-person walk-through with your landlord before moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
