• Before beginning to pack belongings up, be sure to make copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• If you aren't going to bring some of your furniture with you then try to put them up for sale.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your letters go to your new place. You can do this on the USPS website.
