• Before you begin to pack belongings up, make sure to create copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• Put pads or blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will ensure that you don't damage the floors during the move.
• If you aren't going to bring any of your furniture with you then try to donate them.
