• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and things that you plan on using in the next day or so.
• Before starting to pack furniture up, be sure to make copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• If you plan on packing up some of your items into your car then make sure it is clean well before the day of the move.
