• Before starting to pack things up, make sure to create copies of crucial documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• You may feel inclined to just donate or toss all of the food in your house, but a number of items like olive oil and other ingredients can and should come with you.
• You will need to have a forwarding address for your mail so that your mail go to your new home. You can do this on the USPS website.
