• Once all of your things are out of your home make sure to do a deep clean. This is extra important if you are a renter.
• Before you start to pack items up, be sure to make copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• While this may seem like just another thing that’s added to your plate, make copies of all of the keys before you move. In all of the chaos of the move it would be easy to misplace a key, and that is the last thing you want to deal with on your moving day.
