• Research what internet and cable companies are in your new city before you move. It will help to know what service you want in your new apartment before you move.
• If you are moving into an apartment building, figure out if it is necessary to reserve the elevator and if there are any blocked off days for moving.
• If you are going to use a security system, or already have one installed in the house then set it up the day of the move.
