• Take pictures of all of your valuable possessions with any serial numbers as well.
• Regardless of what a moving company tells you, it is federal law for them to hold your things.
• While it is not necessary by law in some states, be sure to do an in person walk through with your landlord prior to moving out. This way you can address any issues on the spot.
