Moving Tips

• Before beginning to pack possessions up, make sure to make copies of documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a secure place.
• Put pads or blankets on the floor when moving large furniture. This will make sure that you do not damage the floors during the move.
• If you are moving into an apartment, figure out if it is required to reserve the elevator and whether there are any blackout days for moving.
