• Before starting to pack furniture up, be sure to make copies of important documents like birth certificates and tax returns and keep them in a safe place.
• As you get closer to a move start to unclutter your pantry and think about donating any food to local homeless shelters.
• While you may want to unpack everything in one day, be sure to start with fragile items and items that you plan on using in the next day or so.
