• While no one likes to help others move, if you ask your friends for help well ahead of time then they will be more willing to help you out.
• As you get closer to the move begin to declutter your cabinets and start donating any food to local food pantries.
• Place blankets or pads on the floor when moving large furniture. This will ensure that you don't damage the floors during the move.
